Prince Kumar

Hi, I’m Prince Kumar, a Computer Science and Engineering graduate from IIIT Bhagalpur with a strong interest in software engineering, full-stack development, data, and financial technology. I enjoy designing and building practical software solutions that solve real-world problems.

My primary area of expertise is full-stack web development using the MERN stack. I work with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB and modern web development practices, with a particular interest in backend architecture, REST API development, authentication, database-driven applications, and scalable web systems.

Some of my key projects include:

  • Innovate-Gujarat: A unified platform designed to connect researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers and support innovation-driven collaboration.
  • Indian Constitution Rights AI Website: An AI-powered platform designed to help users understand constitutional rights and legal information more easily.
  • College Online Voting System: A MERN-based voting platform featuring authentication, secure voting workflows, and real-time result management.

I also have professional experience in backend development through my internship at PW Skills, where I worked with Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs and contributed to improving application performance.

Alongside web development, I have a strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, with 1000+ problems solved across platforms such as LeetCode, Codeforces, and GeeksforGeeks. This experience has strengthened my algorithmic thinking, problem-solving ability, and understanding of efficient computational solutions.

I am also interested in the intersection of technology and finance, particularly financial analytics, derivatives, technical analysis, quantitative research, and algorithmic trading. I enjoy applying programming and analytical techniques to financial data and exploring data-driven approaches to market research.

Beyond development, I have contributed as a Technical Lead and Event Lead, where I have organized technical events, collaborated with students, and supported peer learning. I have also been part of a team that achieved regional-level success in the Smart India Hackathon.
